Maya is an artist, independent lecturer and researcher dealing with intimacy, internet culture and the world of youth in virtual space. She grew up in a world of screens, internet and computer games and has since researched the ways technology affects our lives. She combines an artistic perspective, research and years of experience working with youth online and face-to-face. Whether working as a manager of digital spaces and innovation at Alam Digital, lecturing about youth online, or creating performances dealing with the relationship between people and technology — Magnet seeks innovative ways in which technology can be used to create intimacy between people.
